European Forum for Mobile TV 2007 in Berlin

The second European Forum for Mobile TV will be held on 30 August, after a successful start in 2006, as part of the conference week Medienwoche Berlin-Brandenburg, which is connected to the IFA. The second European Forum for Mobile TV will give a review of mobile entertainment in Europe and other parts of the world. High-ranking officials from government regulatory agencies and telecommunication companies as well as producers and television professionals from different countries will address and debate complex issues facing the industry.

The schedule for the one-day conference will include speeches and round-table discussions on regulative aspects and different Mobile TV approaches in delivering Mobile TV. A specific emphasis will be placed on the presentation of mobile content.

The forthcoming start of Mobile TV over DVB-H in Germany and the intended information from the European Commission on this topic will be expect to lead to current relevant discussions.

The concept of the European Forum for Mobile TV is designed by the Berlin based company Goldmedia GmbH Media Consulting & Research on behalf of the Berlin Senate Administration of Economic Affairs, Employment and Women.
